MSC Bellissima here we come!

Last month I was awarded a place on the MSC Bellissima Launch party which is this Sunday!!  My colleagues and myself are very excited to spend a night on-board and explore.  We will be sure to get lots of pictures and videos of this beautiful new ship!

Our programme includes lunch and dinner on-board the ship, bite tasting in the speciality restaurants, cocktail tasting, a MSC show in the theatre and the part we are all most excited about…..a DJ set from Craig David on the Bridge promenade!  Having been on-board the MSC Seaview in November I know from experience that MSC really do know how to throw a good party!!

The Bellissima is the 2^nd of the Meraviglia-class MSC ships.  So, what makes it so special?  For me having been on the MSC Meraviglia previously, which is similar to the Bellissima, I found the promenade area extra special.  It spans 2 levels and boasts an 80-metre long dome which changes its image so the atmosphere can change instantly.  I have heard this is especially spectacular at night so am very excited to experience this!  Another special thing about the Bellissima is that it will have a venue called the Carousel lounge which will host Cirque de Soleil shows!

The ship includes many features to keep the whole family entertained including a Canyon themed aqua park, sportsplex, full sized bowling alley and Formula 1 simulators (I tried this on the MSC Seaview and it is lots of fun!)  There are 12 dining venues so a huge amount of choice for each dinner time.
