My next adventure – Norwegian Fjords.

I am currently on board the MSC Magnifica on a 10 night Northern Europe and Fjords with my husband. This is our holiday and not work. (however never off duty when on a cruise).

After departing Southampton we will arrive into Le Havre for a full day. We intend to visit the pretty port of Honfleur and Deauville which I believe are within an hour from the port. After passing through Le Havre several times we want to see something different and both towns look like they will be just up our street. I hope we get to see some river cruise boats so that I can tempt my other half into trying one of these next year. Whereas Deauville is a trendy beach resort we can stroll around and people watch.

We will then continue to Stavanger, Bergan, Olden and Alesund in Norway and are really looking forward to our first experience of this part of the world. We finish off with a stop in Hamburg before returning to Southampton combined with three sea days I am sure we will have lots of rest along the way too.

I have been on Magnifica before but this is a MSC first for my husband so I will be interested to see what he thinks of the product. I will keep you posted on ports of calls next time.
