Norwegian Jade - Introduction

In 2006, the second ship of NCL’s Jewel class was established to operate for the Hawaiian market, aptly named “Pride of Hawaii”. It was withdrawn within two years due to pricing pressures and was relocated to Europe under the new name of Norwegian Jade where it is now a regular to some of the most popular ports in the Med. With its exterior styling similar to the Norwegian Star and Norwegian Dawn, the Jade can be easily identified with its recognisable jaded ribbons down its side, a trademark styling of NCL. The ship’s interior is also vastly different; continuing its past Hawaiian theme with tropical flowers and landscapes throughout the ship. The Jade now brings its Hawaiian themes to-and-from exotic and popular ports around the Mediterranean.
