Greetings cruisers

Hope you are all doing well and organising those winter sunshine cruises as we speak, it happens every year. Suddenly the UK weather changes for the worse and everyone decides they want some winter sunshine, there are still deals out there so crack on and get them booked.

Firstly lets get the elephant out of the room first by saying it was a complete shock that Thomas Cook collapsed after so many years running a successful business, however who knows what happened over the last 5 – 10 years, we all have out thoughts about this but until an enquiry is set up, we will never really know.

But now something very important to share with you all. This one is very specific to one country in the world that is now a very popular destination…………CHINA.

Please read carefully and do not try to cut corners.

Last week there were hundreds of people that were turned away from Beijing by immigration for absolutely no reason, it seemed at first that these were all very random and if your face did not fit, you were pulled to one side and sent back out of the country. You may of seen stories all over the internet and in many of the national papers, now we still have not had any concrete reason from the Chinese or the British consulate in China of why this was happening. However just to be on the safe side, if you are travelling to China for an onward cruise or entering for a few days and then flying onto another country to pick up your cruise, please please please apply for a full visa, do not apply for the 144 Hour visa exemption, even if it seems it will cover you for your trip. It is cheaper but it seems this maybe the reason for so many refusals last week. Please apply for the full visa.

Click the link below for more information on how this particular visa application works.

Anyways have a great couple of weeks and will see you all on the other side.
