Less reasons to say cheers

Greetings cruisers

Hope you are all well and enjoying the sunshine

So P&O have introduced a new drinks package and there is more to it than meets the eye !

and I can’t believe their restrictions, either you offer a drinks package or you don’t, how can you limit it to a certain amount of drinks per 24 hours.
Only P&O would do this, makes me angry and I don’t know of any other cruise line that does this.
Tell me what you think

What does the package include: For £39.95pppd you can enjoy the following

An incredible array of beers, single measure spirits, cocktails and wines by the glass up to £6.95 as listed on our menus
Unlimited draft soft drinks, mocktails, primo Costa coffees, teapigs teas, hot chocolates and small bottled water (500ml only)
20% discount on the following items: drinks above £6.95, bottles of wine, large bottles of water, canned and bottled soft drinks, juices and smoothies
Travelling with children 16 or under? We’ll include the Children’s drinks package at no extra cost!

Restrictions:
Each adult assigned to the same cabin must purchase the drinks package. Sharing of packages is not permitted.
Only available on cruises of five nights or more and must be purchased for every day of the cruise
Strictly non-refundable
Alcoholic drinks are limited to 15 beverages per 24-hour period (6am to 6am)
Only one drink at a time may be ordered (minimum 15 minute wait between orders)
You must be over 18 (21 in USA waters)
All bottles and cans will be served opened

I really don’t understand why they have even bothered offering a drinks package, do you really want to be on your cruise continually counting how many drinks you have had, and how many you have left for dinner, and do you want to be continually looking at your watch to make sure the 15 minutes is up so that you can go and order another drink.

Ridiculous is the only word I can think of when describing this.

Anyways rant over, would be interested to hear what you think about this
