Greeting cruisers

Hope you are all well and getting ready for the summer, I am certainly feeling better from my dose of shingles, looks like I am going to have a few scars but hey ho what can you do.

So apparently a big part of the cruise experience for many of you is the entertainment on board and WOW some of the productions are on par with the West End.  Nowadays millions of pounds are being spent by the cruise lines on their theatres and productions and I can certainly understand why, after your stunning evening meal you are now looking to be entertained in the theatre, and what a choice you have.

Disney’s Dreams

On-Board: Disney, Magic and Wonder

If you’re feeling nostalgic or are looking for the perfect musical to take the kids to, Disney‘s Dreams has the answer to your own.

The show follows a young girl called Anne Marie, who’s taught to believe in herself with the help of some much loved Disney characters.

It’s jam-packed full of classics such as: A Whole New World, Under The Sea, and Let It Go. A feel good, heart-warming hit that’s a cracking night for the whole family so you don’t have to go your separate ways!

 

Mamma Mia

On-Board: Royal Caribbean, Allure of the Seas

Watch Mamma Mia in style on board Allure of the Seas and become a Dancing Queen whilst you bop the night away to the catchiest Abba songs at sea.

It’s ideal entertainment for all ages, and the show’s Greek Island setting really comes alive while you cruise to your destination.

 

Punchliner Comedy Club

On-Board: Carnival, Soon to be Fleet Wide

If you’re not really the musical type, then why not pop on over to the Punchliner Comedy Club on board Carnival ships?

On most nights you’ll be treated to five 35 minute shows with at least two comedians performing. If you’re after a more family orientated show, stop by earlier in the evening, or if it’s more adult focused, raunchy comedy you’re looking for then go later at night.

 

Magic To Do

On-Board: Princess

On board Princess, you’ll be treated to an exclusive show composed by the award winning Stephen Schwartz, composer of hit musical Wicked.

This musical is like no other you’ve ever seen before; combining music with magic in the form of unbelievable illusions, makes this a show to be considered a highlight to your cruise…

Schwartz has even worked in classic numbers such as Defying Gravity into the show. It’s exclusive to Princess so you won’t catch this show anywhere else!

 

Cirque Dreams

On-Board: MSC & Norwegian (Breakaway and Epic)

You’ll never forget this dinner on board Norwegian Breakaway and Epic.

You’ll dine whilst you watch world class acrobats and aerialists perform above your heads; musicians will serenade you whilst you eat your meal and there’s plenty of audience participation for those of you who love to get involved.

MSC are also proud to present their partners, Cirque Du Soleil, where MSC Meraviglia hosts the first ever custom-made Entertainment Lounge at sea for the artistic entertainers.

Six nights a week, the performers deliver utterly unique shows created exclusively for MSC guests, and the partnership is due to be extended to Meraviglia’s three sister ships in 2019, 2020 and 2022.

 

Shakespeare

If you prefer your performances to be a little more classical, then Cunard’s got entertainment right up your street.

Oceanaria
