Queen Elizabeth to visit the land of Bears and Whales

Cunard have just released sailings on Queen Elizabeth to Alaska for 2019.  She will sail in May from the Orient over to Canada and do four sailing round trip Vancouver to Vancouver starting from 21st May 2019.  She will visit ports of call including, Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, Hubbard Glacier (which is a must) and Ketchikan.

Alaska cruising is renowned for the views and if you are lucky you could see wildlife such as bears and sea creatures like whales and seals.  Cunard is also offering post cruise options on the famous Rocky Mountaineer train where you can sit back and let the scenery go by on a luxury rail experience.

From what I have seen the availability will be slim as it has been 20 year since Cunard have been in Alaskan waters and Cunard are expecting this Itinerary to sell fast.

Ever thought of visiting Alaska? Explore the native American port of Ketchiken which still has totem poles and salmon spawning streams for you to view.  Visit the gold rush ports of Skagway (pictures of Skagway above) , try panning for your own Alaskan gold.  See the famous Hubbard Glacier and be amazed and in awe with the different color ice.
