Do Celebrity endorsements make you want to cruise?

Princess cruises have recently revealed that the one and only Philip Scofield, yes the one off This Morning and the ‘we buy any cars ad’s’ on Television and radio is an ambassador of their cruise line.

If you were to go on a cruise would you take the word of a celebrity who has more than likely been given a free cruise?  Philip enjoyed all the aspects on Regal Princess, which are normally a cover charge to experience. Of course Princess would allow him to sample these and shout about them, but would you sail because of this?

Princess Cruises’ brand ambassador and TV personality, Phillip Schofield, recently swapped the presenters sofa for a ship and boarded the Regal Princess as it sailed to the Baltic region. The sailing was Phillip’s second with Princess Cruise

A self-confessed wine enthusiast, Phillip also experiences the chef’s table Lumiere, which includes a behind-the-scenes galley tour followed by a multi-course dinner created by the ship’s executive chef and served on a table surrounded by a curtain of light. And Phillip gets to try the winemaker’s dinner, which features menus developed in partnership alongside specialty winemakers, with food designed to pair with matching wines.

Phillip Schofield said: “After our first cruise with Princess the bar really had been set high. We couldn’t wait to get on Regal Princess and from the moment we boarded, the ship, crew and destinations did not disappoint. I loved sampling the wealth of onboard facilities available during the calm of a day at sea and the excitement of discovering new activities such as glass blowing.

“Cruising has opened not just my eyes, but those of my family, to any number of possibilities available both on Princess’ ships and a wealth of eye-catching destinations. We can’t recommend it enough.”

The best thing to do is talk to a cruise consultant about cruising and read reviews on our website from people who have paid to go on board i think.  What are your thoughts?
