Celebrity ‘all Baltic-ed out’

Celebrity cruises have announced that they are ditching their regular Summer Baltic sailings from Southampton for 2019.

Celebrity Silhouette will now sail from Southampton to the Mediterranean to ports such as Barcelona and Florence.  Celebrity seem to be targeting families for Summer 2019.  Their ships have been sailing to the Baltic in the Summer for a few years now and finally someone has realized that this Itinerary is not the best for children.

This is great news for agents because the struggle to find family friendly ships in the summer for three and four berth cabins is on going.  Princess an P&O can only carry a certain amount of children within certain age groups.  Their sailings get booked up a year in advance so this news will help families to sail the Mediterranean in luxury in 2019 .

Sailings start 28th July 2019 for a 14 night sailing.  There is an early booking discount at the moment, however if you wait i think Celebrity will include a drinks package later on this year.
