Are You A Captain?

Are you a regular Celebrity cruiser? If so, you should really make sure you are part of the Captains Club. This is a membership which has some really good benefits, which I think are worth noting.

The first number of points is from 2 -149 points, with this you can get a one category cabin upgrade which is up to Aqua class. So you pay for one category but get the free upgrade to a higher one. This is called the Classic membership.

Second number of points is from 150 – 299 points and called the Select membership. This one you get the above but also the exclusive Senior officers cocktail party, priority embarkation and a nice priority status for any shore excursion wait list.

Third one is the Elite membership and is from 300 – 749 points. A nice elegant tea invitation, 3 complimentary drinks during cocktail hour, daily coffee house style breakfast at the Captain’s club lounge is all included.

Fourth one as we whizz up the benefits is the Elite Plus and  is from 750 – 2999 points. With this you get 15% discount on any speciality restaurant, 10% discount on any drinks package, complimentary coffee’s and complimentary 240 minute internet package.

Lastly we have the highest order which is the Zenith and is from 3000 points and higher.  If you are lucky enough to get to this grade you get a complimentary 7 night Caribbean or Bermuda cruise in a balcony cabin, complimentary drinks package, unlimited internet package, access to Micheal’s club concierge and the Retreat lounge on the Edge. Complimentary laundry, upgraded bathroom amenities, priority seating in the theatre – need I go on!

Of course, I have only added the “stand out” benefits. There are a lot more such as discounts on photo packages, access to the Captains club Vista magazine, access to the on board Loyalty host on your cruise and of course eligibility for any Captain’s club promotions if you booked a cruise on board.

In a nutshell if you keep cruising with Celebrity you “can” get some smashing benefits.  This of course, does tie you to cruising with Celebrity, which is what they want you to do.  Is it worth it? Only you can answer that!
