Countdown Is Well And Truly On!

Ooh wow not long to go now before I fly off to the Caribbean on Celebrity Equinox for 11 nights,

I am getting through my checklist but it feels like I am not getting very far very fast and with only 7 days before I fly it is all getting a bit tense.

The Checklist So Far!

Firstly my online check in with Celebrity, which was nice and easy all done and completed.

The second was my ESTA’s, Ooh wow I  had a  total nightmare doing this. Firstly when I filled in the application, I said I was travelling transit like an idiot, till I sat back and thought oh no I am having a night in a hotel in Miami on the way out.

After trying to go onto my application numerous of times to update the information because it just would not allow me to, so off I went to speak to the American Embassy, which I got absolutely nowhere with so I called the CIBT.

Ooh wow they were a godsend, they were excellent, gave me lots of advice and they did say that obviously it was incorrect information and to be safe it would be easier to apply for another ESTA.

So yes I went back on and applied for another one and thank goodness it was authorised.Third, which is a very important one on my checklist was Travel Insurance.

Ooh wow, another one that has been a mind field. As soon as you hit the big 50 it’s like you are over the hill and have some major illnesses. Well to be really honest, I am very fit and go to the gym 5 times a week, I have never had any major issues in my life, other than when I had my operation 4 years ago other than that I am fit as a fiddle.

Well after looking at comparison sites I have eventually sorted all my Insurance out now which also Includes cruise Insurance which is an added bonus.

It is so Important when we are filling details in to be very precise and accurate, you just never know what life brings sometimes.
