Battle Of The Big Ships 2020!!!!!

Wow 2020  Is going to be an amazing year down at Southampton.

With the launch of P&O’s new ship the Iona and now Celebrity has announced their newest ship “Celebrity Apex”, a sister ship to the Edge will also be sailing from Southampton in April 2020 for its first ever cruise.

2020 will be the first time Celebrity has operated two ships out of Southampton with Celebrity Silhouette returning to the UK for her third consecutive year.

Celebrity Apex is the second Edge-class ship from Celebrity Cruises – an innovative new class of ship that is set to revolutionise the industry and set a new benchmark for modern luxury travel, featuring more suites than any other Celebrity ship.

What to expect on onboard Celebrity Apex!

The Magic Carpet is a truly fantastic innovation – a basketball court-sized moveable deck attached to the side of the ship that can move up and down from deck 2 to deck 16, serving functions that range from tender boarding areas, to an alternative restaurant in the evenings, a bar at sundown and late-night discos and a restaurant extension to the raw bar on deck five during the day.

She will be offering 29 world-class, palate-pleasing venues. This includes four main dining restaurants, one exclusive Suite Class and one exclusive AquaClass restaurant, and seven brand new speciality restaurants.

Infinite Veranda cabins will have balconies that are incorporated into the main cabin area. Bi-fold doors in the rooms either can be completely closed, creating a traditional room area separated from a balcony area, or left open, creating a wide-open indoor space that is about 23% larger than traditional balcony cabins.

The Rooftop Garden will be a familiar one but a much-improved experience for seasoned Celebrity cruisers, it will play host to daytime yoga, and night-time music and film evenings. The Rooftop Garden will also have a grill kitchen, serving delicious burgers by day and a full-on barbecue at night.

Celebrity Apex will go on sail on the 29^th November 2018,
