P&O Iona now on sale!

It has been an exciting week as we have seen the launch of P&O’s brand new ship Iona.

She will be sailing the Norwegian Fjords from Southampton for 2020. Departures will be on a Saturday which is great for those who work and have to think about their annual leave.

Here are some facts about Iona:

• She is P&O’s most environmentally efficient ship yet
• Capacity of 5,2000 guests
• A choice of over 15 places to eat
• More than 10 places to go for a drink
• 4 swimming pools
• 18 whirlpools
• Iona was names after an island in the Inner Hebrides

One of my favourite features which is a first of its kind, is the SkyDome. It has a glass dome roof and a spacious layout for amazing views whilst sailing.

The Skydome is on two decks. On Deck 16 you will find a swimming pool, sun loungers as well as whirlpools to use. This is open from 7am for all the early risers. Food and drink is also available on this deck. To really make the most of the natural light and views then Deck 17 is the place to be.

In the evening you will find all kinds of entertainment in the SkyDome such as aerial acrobats and DJs so you can dance the evening away.
