A fresh look discovered for Saga Cruises

A proud moment for Saga last week when their new ship ‘Spirit of Discovery’ was officially named by the Duchess of Cornwall.

So what do we know about this exciting new addition to Sagas fleet?

She will be an adults-only ship with a guest capacity of 999, 505 Crew and has a gross tonnage of 58,250. The cabins are spacious with every one of them having a private balcony. The cabins look stylish and have a contemporary look to them. There are also 20% of cabins designed for single occupancy which are looking an extremely popular choice.

As standard, your cabin will include 24-hour room service, complimentary WIFI, turndown service and not forgetting a much loved British favourite tea and coffee making facilities.

The suites onboard look fantastic and they even feature a full butler service to really let you sit back and relax and enjoy your holiday.

The interior of the ship looks impressive and beautifully done, there looks enough to do but also enough space to find that quiet time if you wish.

A must visit will be to The Club, designed on a 1950’s style cabaret bar, its patron is none other than Jools Holland. Proving very popular are the Live shows announced by Jools holland on a selection of cruises, don’t miss the boat on those sailings, I am sure it will be an atmosphere to remember.

I have already booked a few sailings on the Spirit of discovery for 2020 and value for money is one of the main comments I have heard from my customers. She will be all Inclusive and gratuities are also included.

Along with her sister ship launching in 2020 Spirit of Adventure, they should really live up to the description they have been given of  ’boutique luxury’.

There are some great early booking offers with savings of up to 35% so it really is the best time to book if you fancy trying the new boutique luxury style Saga has to offer.

What do you think? Are you tempted? ….
