Costa Cruises

Highlights of the Costa experience include authentic Italian cuisine helmed by Michelin-starred chefs, vibrant entertainment programming, and luxurious Samsara spa.

Popular Routes

With its Italian home base, Costa’s most popular routes are in the Mediterranean. This includes tours of the Greek Islands and a classic ‘Marvellous Mediterranean’ 7-day itinerary stopping in France, Spain and Italy. However, you’ll also find globe-spanning cruises to take you through the Caribbean, Northern Europe, Persian Gulf, Asia, Indian Ocean and China.

Dining Options

Being an Italian cruise line, it’s no surprise that Costa pulls out all the stops when it comes to fine dining! From stone baked pizza to homemade ice cream, there’s no shortage of ‘Made in Italy’ choices onboard including a 12-course dinner from acclaimed chef Bruno Barbieri. A Mediterranean influence runs through many Costa Cruises restaurants, from quick poolside snacks to gourmet buffets and 24-hour room service.

Self-service buffets offer a casual dining option at any time, catering to a variety of specialty dietary requirements. Costa Restaurants offer a selection of regionally-influenced menus alongside gourmet specialties from top-tier chefs.

Apart from the primary dining selections, you’ll also have the chance to sample something different in the fleet’s specialty outlets. This includes options like:

  • Samsara – Pacific and Mediterranean influences combine in a fresh, flavour-packed fusion menu.
  • Teppanyaki – Sample the flavours of Japan including sushi and sashimi dishes.
  • Wine Bar – Choose from dozens of handpicked Italian vintages paired with tasty nibbles and artfully arranged cheese boards.
  • Pummid’Oro Pizzeria – Dine on delectably authentic Italian pizza using the finest ingredients, prepared by expert chefs in a stone oven.
  • Chocolate Bar – Visit this dessert restaurant to dip biscuits and fresh fruit into the tantalising chocolate fountain. Homemade ice cream is also on hand to cool down after a long day of fun in the sun.

Costa Deliziosa review

Value For Money

Costa Deliziosa

By: Buckingham, on 8th Aug 2016

At the end of the voyage, we asked if we could leave early as we had a car picking us up to go to the airport, they arranged this without problems. I would have no problem sailing with Costa again.

How much is the service charge?

What's the dress code?

Costa’s vibe is generally relaxed. They suggest wearing casual resort wear or sportswear for daytime activities and offshore excursions, including comfortable shoes. If you love all things glam, you’ll have the chance to dress to impress in a men’s suit or cocktail dress during the cruise’s gala evenings. When in doubt, you can turn to the daily programme of activities ‘Today’ for up-to-date dress code advice.
