I was on carnival sensation sailing from Miami, going round the Bahamas, the entertainment on the ship was fantastic, all the people I met were really nice, the drinks and food were excellent.

Carnival have expanded their 24 hour stateroom service menu to include a variety of new in-cabin dining options for a fee. The fee-based choices include chicken wings, fried shrimp, quesadillas, personal pizzas and more. mA wide range of items are available at no charge, including seven different hot and cold sandwiches, three salad choices, three desserts and beverages, as well as a Continental breakfast menu. The expanded room service menu is designed to significantly broaden and upgrade our culinary choices available for in-room delivery. These new fee-based options are simply intended to create even greater choice and variety for our guests. Bar items ordered through room service are charged at regular menu prices. The menu comes with a section of 9 specialty items including pizza, wings, fried shrimp and more for a nominal charge ($5-$6 per selection).

Carnival specialises in family fun, so you can expect a full range of activities to keep little ones (and not-so-little ones) occupied. Kids clubs offer age-targeted activities, with teens getting their own digital play area and party time. The Seuss at Sea program is a must for all Dr Seuss fans! This unique partnership brings the timeless children’s stories to life, with everything from arts and crafts to character breakfasts serving green eggs and ham.
A Carnival cruise is an epic vacation, so treat yourself to indulgent beauty treatments and luxurious spa therapies. Facials, manicures, pedicures, and therapy wraps are just the beginning of what’s on offer at the soothing Cloud 9 Spa! Gratuities are customary but left up to your discretion. The cruise line advises tipping $12.95 per person, per day if you’re staying in a standard stateroom or $13.95 if you’re staying in a suite. You can choose to prepay these if you like! An automatic 15% service charge is also added to all beverage purchases.
During the day, dress for comfort to enjoy the array of activities on the deck and onshore. In the evenings, a ‘Cruise Casual’ code applies except for the occasional ‘Cruise Elegant’ dress code for special occasions.
Cruise Casual boils down to sport slacks, khakis or jeans with collared polo shirts for men, and summer dresses or smart casual outfits for women. You can wear your fancier outfits on Cruise Elegant nights, with cocktail dresses, elegant separates and evening gowns for ladies and dress suits and ties for men.
