Teddies on Parade…. Where has your teddy been ???

Hi all, after a wonderful chat with one of my customers the other day, I realised we share a passion, or rather our teddies do. Since I was about 10 years old I always have taken a teddy with me on my travels and if I don’t have one the first thing I do is buy one either on the plane or in the ship shops. I was amazed to find that they too had a travelling companion and he has sent me some pictures and stories to share with you. His name is Albert  Our passion that we share is cruising of course. This is what Albert had to say…..and I have to say he is a well-travelled bear. He also is a very well-dressed bear.

Here is his story:

Good evening Josephine

Thank you for booking two more cruises for myself and my adoptive parents.  As you can see, since I was rescued from an iceberg I have decided I love sunshine and travelling very much – especially cruising.
Attached are pictures of me in the Colesseum in Rome in June 2014;  View from the top of the “Old” Fortress in Corfu Old Town June 2015;  At the top of  the Campanile in San Marco, Venice, June 2015; Enjoying (very) expensive drinks at Cafe Florian, San Marco, Venice, June 2015 and my wonderful gondola ride in Venice also June 2015.  Lastly, from the same trip on Cunard Queen Victoria, I really enjoyed meeting friendly Estef from Brazil on formal night ( he made a pretty rose out of a paper napkin for Mum). I  went to the top of the Empire State Buiding in New York in May 2017 (I love watching another bear called Howard in Sleepless in Seattle). In September 2017 we were back on Queen Victoria and my pal Shep & I were enjoying a beer on our balcony (don’t tell anyone I was only 5!).  We hiked around the walls of Dubrovnik for the second time in September 2017 – it is a long walk for little paws and I rested on this cannon;  I always dress for formal nights and this is my alternate white tux. Lastly, I was impressed with our attractive cabin on MSC Magnifica April 2018 and we even enjoyed the sunshine in Southampton on departure day (the weather went downhill for the rest of the cruise in Northern Europe!)
Be careful with the sand Albert gets in your shorts and can chaff !
wow, that’s High!

Even sitting in St Mark’s Square costs you !!!

Never done a Gondola ride but looks fun !

He looks a Jolly Chap !

I won’t tell if you don’t x

One of My Favourite places (I will have to remember to ask if he is old enough to watch Game of Thrones !)

So smart xx

I too had a balcony on MSC Magnifica, we were very lucky with the weather!

I am sending these to you as I would quite like to be famous and my parents do not participate in social media!

Please feel free to use any of my photos on your blog (the more the better), but if I become famous and in demand I will expect you to negotiate a good film deal for me as my agent.
Kind regards,
Albert Aloysius Lucas Bear x
This is so special I had to share.
I have taken my teddy to Croatia, Amsterdam, Turkey, Cuba and Europe many times and sometimes remember to get a pic or two , but he will certainly have to smarten up to beat Albert.
I am hoping that this will start a trend, I would love to know about your favourite Bears and where they have been lucky enough to travel too!
Send me their pictures and tell their stories…
