Marella what a wow !

Hi all just wanted to update you all on how wonderful my first ever cruise with Marella was. I travelled from Birmingham on the 27th November to join the Fam trip organised by the wonderful Kelly from Marella.

The flights were comfortable and the staff on the flight lovely. we then headed for our coach in Paphos to take us to the ship. The cruise departed from Limmasol so we had a lovely air-conditioned coach to take us on the 3/4 hr journey. Unfortunately, it was night time so didn’t get to see much. but I did on the return journey. Cyprus was beautiful.

We joined the ship Marella Dream to do the Ancient Affairs itinerary, and I have to say it was a joy from start to finish. My customers have often told me that Marella is fantastic but so pleased I have now experienced just how fabulous they are. The cabin was spacious and the shower amazing, our cabin steward was lovely.

The ship itself had lots of different areas to relax, enjoy a show, have a dance, listen to music or try your hand at the games. lots going on every day and night. we took part in the games on the sea day and went to some fantastic shows, the bands in all the areas on the ship were really good. My favourite was the band Jam on the last night.

The tours were amazing, and very reasonable prices. My favourite was the tour in Crete to Spinalonga island. It was a beautiful day and the guide was so knowledgeable. Lunch was thrown in too and the greek food was lovely.

Just need to read the book about the island now, so interesting. The weather was beautiful too.

We also visited Jerusalem, really didn’t think this would be so emotional but it was. popped a couple of prays in the wailing wall and then we had a beautiful lunch and on to the dead sea for a flote in the lowest point on earth.
