Entertainment on Board what floats your Boat ??

Hi all, I was just having a conversation with one of my past passengers and we were discussing entertainment and what we liked and didn’t, so I wanted to share some of my favourites with you. I normally do not make the shows as usually shattered if been in port for the day, but as I am on board Britannia for 6 days at sea in October I am hoping for some fabulous entertainment.

My first and best production I have ever seen was onboard Anthem of the Seas at Launch. If you have never seen the Broadway show ”We will Rock You” than this is definitely not one to miss. I was lucky enough to witness the first full run-through. The director did tell us that he might have to stop it if any issues to be resolved, but much to my pleasure it was fantastic from start to finish (no Stops). I was blown away.

The Greece show on Independence was nowhere near as good. Still enjoyable but not a patch on that. I found the Ice show about the violin on Independence a better option. If you are going on any of the other Royal Caribbean ships there is Momma mia, Hairspray and many more, try the Two70 lounge on Anthem, the Spectras cabaret one of my favourites.

I think the P and O version I saw on Oceana was a close second with their tribute to Queen, same sort of theme. the whole audience was singing and clapping and dancing at one point.

I will never forget the Badness band onboard Britannia and the Wild Boys on Anthem, both fantastic bands,

The wild boys and one girl Vanessa off The Voice

Although the Take That tribute was so funny, it had entertainment value in that alone. (on Independence of the seas)

I also will never forget my first time of listening to Opera onboard MSC Magnifica in the theatre, my husband was brought to tears by this and I got very emotional too, so beautiful.

Opera ready

A bit of a tip if going on Cunard Queen Elizabeth or Victoria in September they have the broadway musical ”Top Hat” on board for your entertainment that should be fantastic. It’s a 1930 romantic comedy, very glitzy.

I have to say never been disappointed on any of the ships I have been on.

What have you seen on board the different ships you have been on that ticked all the boxes for you and what disappointed you?
