Cunard What a WOW !

Hi All, as you might be aware I managed to get on board last week and see the Wonderful Cunard Queen Victoria. This was my first time onboard Cunard and she did not disappoint.  Myself and 3 of my colleagues travelled up to Newcastle to get a look at her. She is a grand ship, with lots of special features that I was unaware of. I am sorry about the finger in the way of the shot, its quite hard to get her all in the picture she is stunning though.

The one thing that caught my eye was the decor. She has such amazing clock towers and little booths in the theatre that are so special. I would love to see the show in my own little seating area.

The main theatre is so elegant and spacious and a fantastic view from all angles, I must admit sitting in one of the booths would make me feel very special. A true west End feel.

There are  2 pool areas and the one on top has a bar and a dining area, outdoor burgers etc and the one below has a wonderful area that is all lined with trees where the roof can retract should the weather permit.

Lovely helpful waiters waiting to serve you your drinks

There are several dining options including a speciality steak restaurant (extra charge for this) and a British pub. The main restaurant depends on what level of cabin you have booked, they all look amazing (we didn’t get to see the Queens grill as People were eating) but the princess grill looked beautiful. I would personally be very happy with the main dining room the Britannia Restaurant and believe me the food was beautiful.

My Steak, done to perfection.

The Princess grill had an outdoor dining area , and you can book tables for 2, freedom dining in here.

The whole ship had a wonderful relaxed feel to it. the Spa had a fabulous pool with jets and several different steam and sauna rooms. The hot beds, as you can see went down a treat.

There are shops Gallore, I would make sure your bank balance is good if you wish to try the jewellery shop.

So all in all a fantastic day out and I will certainly be looking to have my own family Cruise with Cuanrrde as they cater for all ages, (excellent Kids club onboard) and if you fancy some stricktly dancing of your own there is the show lounge with a massive dance floor , with proffessional dancers there to help if you have 2 left feet like me.
