Barbados here I come , I wish !!

Hi everyone, so to continue in my Caribbean trek, thought I would have a look at Barbados . A lot of the cruise lines go out of here , and also its normally on most of the itineraries and now I have looked at this and spoken with my parents who visited in November last year, I can understand why. In true Caribbean flavour ( usually Rum, ) it seems you can get a real feel for the life in Barbados.

Barbados is an eastern Caribbean Island and an Independent Common wealth Nation, hey will be taking part in the Commonwealth games coming up very soon. Around the Island are stunning beaches , botanical gardens, and the famous Harrison’s cave formation. St Nicholas Abbey a must see. They still follow the British afternoon tea tradition and the local sport is cricket.

Looking into the Botanical gardens which my parents visited , this looks amazing, I wont spoil it by posting pictures as seeing is believing, This is a unique and Historical garden located at the east of Barbados in the parish of St Joseph. Check out the trees that can not be found anywhere else in the Caribbean. Andromeda gardens , so named after the Greek goddess because like her it is chained to rock. For these gardens , it is the coral stone rock of the east coast of Barbados they are tethered. Relax by the main pool at one of the finest post -war gardens in the world.

Simply stunning and relaxation at its best.
