Why you should book on board.

It’s  that time  of year when everyone is off on their summer holidays and those that aren’t already booked are busy trying to get a last minute deal.

Customers that have booked  with me will receive a phone call before they go, I like to make sure they have their tickets sorted, know what they are doing and are ready to go. I also take this opportunity to talk  to them about booking on board.

A lot of  people don’t know  that you can A, book on board. B, that you get extra benefits for booking on board and C, that your booking will still be  handled by me your travel agent. It is lovely that people only like to book with me but you can still do so when booking on board.

P&O  and Cunard will offer additional on board credit and a lower deposit for booking on board, with these companies you have to know the exact sailing that you’d like and you are then bound by their standard terms and conditions. Celebrity go  a step further by allowing you to book a cruise and then transfer it later to another sailing free of charge. This gives you the on board booking benefits without having actual plans in place.

NCL are similar in that you can make a deposit payment  on board that can just be applied to a future booking and ensure the on  board booking benefits then.

I won’t list all of the different cruise line offerings here as there are too many to mention but will just leave you with my recommendation to take half a hour out of your holiday to talk to the on board booking staff.

If you are cruising soon – have a great trip

    • Hi. Unfortunately I am not allowed access to your booking due to data protection. You will need to contact Mr Gordon who should be able to give you a cost to upgrade.

      • I have now seen that you have booked with my colleague so have asked him to give you a call, I am currently on leave.

  2. We took advantage of booking on board and paid £100,£50 each with NCL , we were told we had to book within 2 years. We forgot about it and 10 years later received a letter from a third party telling us that we are due a refund. At first we thought it was a scam, Butler and behold we each received a cheque for £50 which cleared OK
