I’ve Returned from The Caribbean

I have just returned from my Caribbean trip with Celebrity Cruise the ship was Equinox, but first we stayed in Miami South Beach, so how was the trip?

We flew from Heathrow with Virgin Atlantic and had upgraded to Premium Economy, I was so pleased we had don’t that. The journey to Miami is so long and it is lovely to have the extra benefits you receive on the service. I managed to watch no less than 3 new films and had an excellent of choice of non-stop drinks (if you want that) and also a good choice of meals all with proper cutlery and plates, not a hint of plastic in sight.

We arrived in Miami and had a private transfer to our hotel for our 2 Night stay, South Beach is not too far away. Our hotel was The Breakwater on South Beach with breakfast included and again we upgraded to a deluxe room which was really really big, good facilities in the room with safe, tea & coffee making facilities and a balcony overlooking the beach.

We managed to book in resort one of the city tours on one of the buses and enjoyed the top deck with good views, the beaches are lovely on South Beach with excellent facilities for food and drink and also lots of sunbeds on offer the beach are kept very clean at all time.

Night time is a real eye-opener we stayed mainly on the main road which is Ocean Drive which has lots of bars and shops along with endless hotels with prices to suit all types, the entertainment is very lively, to say the least, and colourful, this has been the 3rd time we have stayed in Miami and we always seem to hit on the rain – never the less, temperatures are still extremely hot at this time of year.

So after our stay, it was time to join Equinox
