Ha Det – From Viking

My last post on my brilliant Viking Trip sailing on the Kvasir. I have loved every minute of this cruise with Viking, the standard and enjoyment have been incredible.

I have loved the entertainment on board from the cheesy quiz nights hosted by Sharon which included doing the Conga around the sun deck to the German Speciality food Night. The bars in the evening are always full of people telling stories and experiences of their day.

Entertainment even though on a low key event on  River Cruise ships it is still a most important part of the holiday, on a very low key scale but never the less an import part of the fun.

Karl & Agnes came on board the ship at one of the ports to give us some traditional entertainment with their memorable singing of old folk law songs and dances.

Of course, not everyone is wanting to take part in singing or dancing, There are also other options for everyone to take part in, the WiFi on board was very good and is completely free, also the Library was well stocked with a good selection of books in various languages to cater for most people and nationalities, there was also a good selection of board games and cards for anyone to make use of.

Or you can simply sit in one of the comfortable settees and just watch the world go by, the ship is tastefully decorated with a good selection of unusual pictures too, exceptional flower arrangments are also on each of the decks as well as making the reception feel welcoming.

If none of these tempts you then there is the lovely top deck, the sun deck where you can sit and view the lovely scenery as you pass by or take advantage of the mini golf.

All in all a fab trip – if you want to know more give me a call or drop me an email
