Its The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year

Ok so here is how 2018 has gone… January Blink December !!! What a quick year it has been. We put our Christmas Decorations up on the 3rd December and both my Husband and I felt like we had only just put them away up the loft.

Although it’s been a quick year it has been a very good year, In May we went to Disneyland Paris, July we went to Cyprus, September I went to Barcelona for my friend’s hen weekend and this weekend I am going on a 3 night Festive party cruise from Bristol to Dublin courtesy of cruise.co.uk. This is something cruise.co.uk do each year for all its employees, Its such a fantastic opportunity to meet everyone in the flesh. I do chat to some of my colleagues on a daily basis but as we are home workers from all over the UK we don’t often get to meet up. I hope the seas aren’t rough as the Marco Polo is a small ship, I did a ship visit on it this year and really enjoyed the food so looking forward to coming back 5 stone heavier, after all, Christmas is all about eating… isn’t it ??

I worked on the high street for 10 years and have never really been able to take much time off at Christmas, normally just scattered days but one of the many things I love about my job here at cruise.co.uk is that I actually can take several days off in a row !!! so this year again I have taken 7 days off from the 22nd – 29th December. I for one cant wait to spend Christmas with my family, eat lots of good food and drink lots of Prosecco. We are having Christmas in our own house this year, just me my husband, Our son Connor and our dog Ollie. We normally go to either my mum and dads or my husbands Nannie and grandas and have done so for the past 8 years, still to buy my Christmas table decorations/plates etc but the main thing is Turkey is ordered !!!

I want to say thank you to all the wonderful customers who I have booked this year, some several times. It’s because of you that I love my job and can’t wait for the busy months to start all over again…. JANUARY MADNESS IS FAST APPROACHING, but first let’s enjoy the next few weeks

Jenna xx

Christmas is more than a day in December
It’s all of those things that we love to remember
It’s carolers singing familiar refrains
Bright colored stockings and shiny toy trains
Streamers of tinsel and glass satin balls
Laughter that rings through the house and its halls
Christmas is more than a day in December
Its the magic and the love
That we’ll always remember
