The Water in Mallorca

Mallorca took my by surprise!

Last week Eleni and I took a mini trip to Mallorca, we was not expecting much just a well earned break and hopefully some bright sunshine and a welcomed break from the cold spell we were experiencing.

As we left we headed the weather in London was set to be hotter than The Balerics, not a great start.

We arrived at our Hotel and was suitably impressed, so clean and bright with a gorgeous view over the bay.

The hotel has just had an extensive refurbishment and the pool and outside areas were fantastic.

I took a few photos of the bay and I can’t tell you just how special the water looked.

The big highlight of the trip was a little trip to a local town called Porto Cristo.

We had a spectacular view across the emerald water marina and lunch and company was fantastic.

The biggest highlight of The trip was Drakes cave thousands of years of history I expected something spectacular but nothing could prepare me for the spectacle that awaited us deep down at the bottom of the famous cave.

We were sat in rows like a Theater setting and in separate rowing boats the concert pianists and accompanying orchestra played Mozart and Bach as we set in ore mesmerized.

I would honestly head back to Mallorca as there are so many beautiful coves and beaches still to see.

Have you visited this stunning island? what are your thoughts?

I sent pictures home and one of my friends said it reminded them of their time in The Maldives as the water is some of the greenest I have seen in any Ocean.

judge it for yourself from the pictures but next time I get a last minute offer for a few nights away low cost I will not be hesitating.

I hope you like the photos.
