P&O set to take over with Iona

P&O are already the most popular cruise line here in the UK but I honestly think the combination of their forward thinking as well as recent changes in the business model will make them the best cruise line in the world.

They have recently introduced a pilot test on of Drinks included packages which I feel represent some of the best value in the industry for all inclusive drinks.

They have also banished gratuities and have joined NCL and Marella (Thomson) cruises by making their ships gratuty free from mid 2019.

Now we have the exciting launch of one of The worlds finest ships.

If you haven’t seen the P&O Iona I strongly recommend having a look at the wealth of literature we have on her as its less than 14 days until she is launching her itineraries for her maiden season in The Fjords for 2020.

I have always wanted to visit the Fjords and now will be my time with the launch of the eagerly anticipated Iona.

I personally cant wait for September as launch is an incredibly exciting time as we will have P&O and Cunard 2020 release dates to discuss very soon.

If for any reason you have not filled in a pre qualifying form on our site for the Iona then do not fear you still have time.

Often the best cabins and the best rates are achieved by signing up on day one. this is when the cruise lines are most keen to discount and create a frenzy of activity on day one this is what gets them the buzz and makes for a successful launch.

I suspect if P&O decide to do a world cruise on her it would be the biggest news in the industry. I don’t know for sure but I have a feeling she will do the Fjords, canaries then Caribbean with one of the smaller older ships doing more of the world voyages. one thing is for sure September is going to be our busiest month of the year.

Are you a P&O fan?

Have you seen the look and feel of the Iona?

I think she will be one of the finest ships on the open seas.
