P&O Oceana Coming back home

August has seen many difficult decisions in cruising not least from Celebrity and P&O making the bold decision in the interest of passenger safety to move the P&o Oceana from Dubai for the winter season and bringing home back home to Southampton.

A couple of years ago we were all very excited about P&O’ decision to launch the Arabian Gulf itineraries and for many of you it represented the first time you may have wanted to visit the region with the creature comforts of A British ship in the heart of The Arabian Gulf.

We had lots of customers upset that their Christmas and Winter cruises were cancelled however it would seem there was very little that could be done about it from P&O’s point of view.

The Good news is just 2 weeks later that had done the extensive work to re introduce 14 new fresh itineraries in the Med from Southampton.

This has contributed to one of our busiest weeks ever as they had prices from £450 PP for 7 night trips along with a fantastic 35 night cruise to the Caribbean and back for just £1499 PP

It was like a brand new P&o launch day with multiple cabins selling out within minutes. A lot of these cruises are now a lot more expensive than on the day of launch last week but in my opinion there are still a few bargains out there with P&o right now.

I booked P&O Iona on launch for a full 2 years ahead and time is certainly flying already as we now have just over a year left until ill be setting off on her in Sept 20 to the Fjords.

Have you ever booked a P&o cruise at launch and if not the question has to be Why they have the best prices and offer all availability on cabins when they typically go on sale two years before sailing.
