We all need some of the Arabian Sun

For some you may have already been but I haven’t and Dubai has been on my bucket list for some time. On the back of the launch of Bellissima in Southampton back in early March MSC have released some further Winter dates for 2021 and MSC Seaview is undertaking the Dubai run for the Winter season, how exciting. For those who haven’t sailed with MSC I can highly recommend them having sailed on board MSC Seaside last August in the Caribbean. Seaview and Seaside are identical and were launched within 6 months of each other.

So back to Dubai, MSC has some great early booking prices and has re-fuelled my desire for the Arabian gulf sometime in February 21, forward planning always best when having to work with school holidays! I know the kids love MSC as do I, there is so much on offer: 5 Elegant restaurants plus 6 themed: Steak, Sushi, Teppanyaki, Pan Asian, Seafood and French Bistro along with 19 distinct bars. What amazed us all was the entertainment on board, the shows were amazing and I don’t normally attend any but we did one every night!, there is also the full size bowling alley, interactive XD Cinema, zip line and not forgetting the Aquapark and outside recreational areas.

Who wouldn’t wish for some winter Sun? The itinerary is calling at the best the Arabian Gulf has to offer,  Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sir Bani Yas, Muscat, Khasab and returning to Dubai where you will enjoy a night in port. I know my children are keen to visit the likes of Ferrari world and experience the Jeep jaunt and dinner in the dessert, the excitement of boarding your 4×4 vehicle driving over the Dunes,  then savouring an authentic Arabian dinner is high on their “to do” list, and why not? For me I would prefer the more relaxing elements and cultural experiences on offer such as the private Cabanas on the beach in Sir Bani Yas or the dhow cruise which I’ve heard is an amazing chance to see dolphins, snorkel & swim in the pristine waters of Oman and enjoy views of the small bays and fjords while cruising into Musandam fjords.

I think I’ve convinced myself, Dubai it is, who’s joining me?
