Anyone for Brabant?

Anyone for Brabant? Well when I was asked do you fancy experiencing the new addition to the Fred Olsen family, I certainly didn’t need time to consider my answer, yes please, when are we going?.

For some, you may not have heard or know much about the Brabant; Introduced to the River market last year she is the latest edition to the Fred Olsen portfolio. Built in 2006, she is  elegant, smaller sized and classically designed and certainly in keeping with the Fred Olsen’s approach to cruising, comfortable and traditionally British like the other Sisters in the fleet. Typically the Fred Olsen family consists of vessels which are smaller both on the ocean front and now on the Rivers, making the most of the smaller ships Fred Olsen are able to  craft simply unforgettable itineraries both at sea and now along the rivers of Europe.  I have cruised with Fred Olsen many times and I am very much looking forward to experiencing Brabant’s bright, spacious and tastefully decorated public areas which spread across four decks and provide guests with intimate, home-from-home feel which Fred Olsen’s passengers already know, love and repeatedly return to year after year to enjoy.

I have been very fortunate in my travel career and experienced River Cruising before with the likes of Scenic, AMA Waterways, Crosi Europe, A-Rosa and Uniworld but to see a newly established addition to a well loved fleet is high on my agenda.

We will be flying out to Basel, Switzerland to join the Brabant and call at Strasbourg in France and Mannheim, Germany before leaving for our return trip back to the UK, the ship will continue on to Cochem, Cologne and Dusseldorf, Germany. Although our journey will be short and sweet I will ensure I make the most of every opportunity and fill you all in on my findings upon my return.

For those who have not yet undertaken a River Cruise or even thought about one well now’s the the time to put this experience on your “Bucket List”, I can highly recommend it and certainly offer you the best deals and products on the market place.
