Sky Princess

Its certainly turned a bit chilly up here in the North and was certainly cool when I landed back into Manchester from Athens last week!. You may recall I was invited to Sky Princess for her “shakedown” cruise, Wow is all I can say!. We arrived in Trieste after our Charter flight from the UK, the Sun was out and after a short transfer we were greeted by the newest Princess.

Sky Princess is the first Ocean Medallion ready ship to be launched, check-in was prompt with the new system, no need for the traditional cards to be swiped anywhere on the ship providing you have the medallion with you, the bar staff know who you are before you even get to the bar, your cabin is open as you approach and you can use the interactive screens around the ship.

We were hosted for 4 nights and we crammed as much into the stay as we could. Cabins are beautifully appointed, I had balcony which was lovely and spacious with the added benefit of the walk-in wardrobe, you can never have too much closet space!.

Sky Princess is beautifully appointed with vast outdoor areas where you can dine and enjoy a drink or two with out the ship feeling overly busy. The Sanctuary is sure to be a Hugh hit which spans the forward area, there is a small nominal fee but you’re surrounded by luxury Cabanas, massage areas and being an adult only zone, the peace is priceless.

Having all ready launched Majestic, Royal and Regal, Princess have made a few alterations to Sky Princess although she is the same class. New Editions include, new categories of cabins, two very luxurious Sky Suites which have the largest balconies at sea, with full wrap around balconies which are magical watching the breathtaking views when arriving or departing port. These suites are two bed roomed and can accommodate up to 5 guests, they have their own butler, indulgence in every respect.

I have so much more to share with you all but will keep this o

ne brief and fill you all in n ext week with dining venues and the entertainment on board.

If you would like further details on Sky Princess please let me know.
