FRED OLSEN OFFERING BOTOX ONBOARD???

Cruising can often make you feel ten years younger but cruise lines are actually offering you to look ten years younger too. Yes it may come as a surprise to you as it did to me , but now you can book BOTOX  on board!!!  Apparently surgery at sea is alot more common than we think. I can imagine a few husbands around the world will be smiling at the thought that they may be travelling home with a lady ten years younger.

I also know the age of customers cruising is coming down but is this really the way to do it ? I may say it in fun but apparently this is big business on board many of our most popular ships. The word ‘Botox’ in itself has been very much a taboo subject until recent years but now many women are  starting to come to terms  that maybe its ok to have Botox and with many salons and even ‘Botox’ parties being held worldwide their is certainly the demand. But is it for you?

Let see who is offering these kind of treatments and at what cost as its not just ‘Botox’ that you will find on the menu. Take a look at everything else that is offered too…

Norwegian Cruise Lines:-   are offering ‘BOTOX’  for Crow’s Feet, the area around the outside corner of the eyes for a mere $300 around £175 ! If that doesnt float your boat how about Restylane Lip Enhancement for $700 around £400. Mmmm I know you may be sailing at sea but I am sure no one would risk a trout pout on board would they? Norwegian also offer a Tooth Whitening treatment for $149 around £90

Cunard are now appreciating the demand and are offering Derma Fillers to their guests , Fillers are considered less invasive than Botox but with excellent results, dermal fillers are in demand and increasing in popularity. Dermal fillers are reported to smooth: smile lines, ‘Marionette’ lines and lipstick lines that appear around edges of lips thus giving a more even lip line. Fillers are also used for lip enhancement to create a fuller ‘pout’ and to add volume to uneven or small lips, for around $400 = £240  , now there is something to spend your on board credit on!!

Cruise International

Princess Cruises want their customer to have relaxation and fun in their spa area, so also offer many treatments from acupuncture to teeth whitening treatments from as little as $149 and much much more.

With parties and evening events being increasingly popular on cruise ships, particularly sea days, it’s no wonder guests want to look their very best on board. So ship’s spas and salons will continue to offer the same services and treatments available on land.

My question is if many cruise lines are now offering surgical treatments will Fred Olsen follow suit too? I think it may only be a matter of time. Are you listening Fred?

Let me know what you think? would you dare? But also what if things went wrong and your left with a swollen face as the ships sets sail into the Sunset.. MMmmmm definitely food for thought.

Holly xx
