Holland America Line

Holland America Line - Introduction

Holland America Line bridges the gap between old world Dutch heritage and friendly American customer service. They’ve been sailing the high seas since the late 1800s, offering a traditional cruising experience on their sleek midsized ships. With smaller passenger numbers than some other luxury cruise lines, Holland America’s fleet provides a personalised experience including loads of perks.

Popular Routes

Throw a dart at a world map and it’s probably on a Holland America itinerary! They offer over 500 different itineraries, covering 100 countries across the globe. From the Gold Rush history of Alaska to the glittering skyscrapers of Shanghai, explore the region of your choice. Popular itineraries include Caribbean and Bermuda cruises where you can soak in the sun and swim in crystal-clear waters, along with European cruises exploring the rich culture of this diverse continent. For a true once-in-a-lifetime adventure, try one of the Grand World Voyages, giving you 113 days to sail your way around the globe.

Holland America Line’s teamed up with seven renowned master chefs to create their own ‘Culinary Council’. Leave it to the experts to create particularly delicious dining options! There are plenty to choose from, starting at the main Dining Room restaurant included in all cruising packages. This elegant restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner, with timeless classics and regionally inspired creations alike. (Not to mention an extensive wine list). The line uses an ‘as you wish’ dining policy, meaning you can choose a dining time you prefer. There are also plenty of specialty and casual restaurants, including these.

  • Pinnacle Grill – Inspired by the natural abundance of America’s Pacific Northwest region, the Pinnacle Grill uses high quality ingredients like sustainably raised beef and wild salmon in its grilled dishes.
