QE2, the Legend continues

According to the local reports, Wednesday 18th April is the important date of a “soft launch”, this will be followed by a more formal opening later in the year. During phase One, five of the 13 restaurants and bars will be open and non-residents will be able to eat and drink in The Golden Lion, The Yacht Club and the Queen’s Grill.

This piece of cruising history now features 224 refurbished rooms and suites.  Boasting an amazing 13 restaurants and nightlife venues, a shopping arcade as well as meeting/conference rooms.

After being sold by Cunard in 2007 to Istithmar World, a Dubai investment company, she then bid the United kingdom a tearful farewell before setting sail to her new home. PCFC Hotels – part of the Dubai government’s Ports, Customs and Free Zones Corporation – has described it as “the latest must-see tourism destination in a city renowned for its world-class attractions”.
