Making a ‘Splash’ – The Cunard Way..

Reminds me of the quote from Toy Story when Buzz ‘flew’ across the room to prove to Woody that he was in fact a true Space Ranger, and could fly!  When in fact  all he was doing  was ‘falling with style’.

Here’s how to make a ‘splash’ Cunard style..

This is the Queen Mary 2, the largest Ocean Liner in the world, docked off the coast of Bali. She is currently completing a round-the-world journey to celebrate her tenth anniversary, culminating with a large celebration in Southampton in May. Where she will meet up with her ‘sisters’ Queen Elizabeth & Queen Victoria on the 3rd.

Her Captain, Kevin Oprey stood on the ship’s bulbous bow, which protrudes from the front of the 151,200 tonne liner, to pose for a portrait with his ship.  And doesn’t he look the ‘proud father’!  The photos really show the size of the ship and her pure ‘majesty’ in the world’s Oceans!

Cunard will proudly celebrate its 175th anniversary in 2015 with some remarkable anniversary cruises and events.   Here’s a little more information about them

The new programme features a selection of special events cruises:

Three Queens in Liverpool
Join Queen Victoria, Queen Mary 2 or Queen Elizabeth to witness this chance of a lifetime event on 25 May 15
The Original Transatlantic Crossing
 re-enacted by Queen Mary 2
Commemorating the sinking of the Lusitania
by sailing on board Queen Victoria

Its going to be an exciting year for Cunard, with events not to be missed!

Make sure you’re part of History!
