To Infinity And Beyond….

Could your future cruise holiday take you a tad further than you think?

This week an American Billionaire that he is planning to open the worlds (or out of this worlds) first space hotel by 2022.  Just a mere three years from now.  This is obviously going to be open to just 0.00001% of the worlds population who are going to be able to afford this unique experience as I imagine the cost is going to be astronomical (you see what I did there…?).  But like all things, as more companies enter the market and as technology becomes cheaper, things come down in price.  Look at air travel, not too long ago this was reserved only for the rich and now you can get flights for less than a shop at Aldi, so things will change.

But what could you see/do in a space hotel? This I am unsure of?

But could a space hotel, eventually lead to a space cruise of such? Maybe a trip across the solar system to see more than what is in the earths orbit?

Its certainly possible, what was once science fiction is very quickly becoming science fact.  (yes i know i sound like my mother)

I’m not sure how I feel about space holidays and if offered or available, would I do one?  I am one for very much having my feet on the ground, me and heights don’t mix well.  I can handle planes, as long as I have the aisle seat, but this is my limit as I very much enjoy getting off them and putting my feet on the ground.  Flying around in space with zero gravity, doesn’t seem like me.  But this is also intriguing.

Who knows though, in 10 / 20 years time you could be reading my blog about a space cruise I have just taken for a few weeks around the solar system?

Can you get a tan in space?  What would I pack?
