Where has the time gone!

I have just had an amazing few days off celebrating my little girls 2nd Birthday.  I can’t believe where the last 2 years have gone.  She has changed so much and was really looking forward to her birthday counting down the sleeps.  We decided to take her back to the Butterfly Farm in Stratford Upon Avon for the day.  The weather was perfect and we spent a few hours in the Butterfly Farm.  She loved the fact they were landing on her.

She then spotted the big wheel outside and wanted to have a go.  We decided to take her on and had lovely views over the river and Stratford.  On the evening we had booked a Teepee which is outside a restaurant near us.  We have such a large family it just makes it a lot easier and Poppy got to move around and play etc.  She had such a brilliant day and I didn’t want it to end.  The next day we then had In the Night Garden Live booked for her at The Rep theatre in Birmingham.  We went to watch Night Garden last year and she was ready to see Iggle Piggle and Upsy Daisy.  She really enjoyed the show and has been talking about it since!  The Saturday then we had a Garden Party organised with all of our family.  The weather forecast wasn’t great and I was worried we wouldn’t be able to do it.  We were so lucky and again had a perfect day.

Poppy loved all of her presents and we had Bing Bunny who she watches on TV as the decorations and as her birthday cake.  She was really overwhelmed and trying to take it all in.  We had a lovely afternoon tea followed by an evening BBQ and lots of fun was had by us all.  It has been an amazing few days and Poppy is coming to terms with the fact it isn’t her birthday now.  I am so glad she enjoyed herself and it all went so well.
