P&O New Food Heroes for 2020

P&O Cruises have recently announced its Food Heroes sailings for 2020.  These will include food and drink themed cruises on the new P&O ship Iona which launches in May 2020.  The food heroes cruises feature cookery demonstrations, masterclass, hosted dinners, shore excursions in selected ports accompanied by various experts and a question and answer session.  The top Food Heroes for P&O include Marco Pierre White, Olly Smith, and Eric Lanlard.  I have eaten in some of Marco Pierre restaurants on board with P&O and also had a delicious afternoon tea in the Epicurean which is Eric Lanyard’s restaurant.

On Iona Marco’s Gala menus will be available in all four main restaurants and cruisers will also be able to sample Eric’s hand-crafted pastries in Vistas Cafe Bar.  Guests can also join “Jolly” Olly’s food and drink experiences including hosted tours in selected ports of call, such as a brewery experience in Bergen.

On Britannia and Azura, Olly Smith will host one-to-one sessions at The Glass House to answer questions about wine, and on Britannia passengers can attend Marco’s hosted masterclasses in the Cookery Club and learn to prepare some of his popular dishes, as well join hosted dinners.

Marco Pierre White  7 night Norwegian cruises departing 25 Jul 2020 and 1 August 2020 and 14 night Spain France and Gibraltar itineraries departing 4th and 15th August 2020.

Olly Smith 14 night Spain, France, Italy and Gibraltar cruise departing20 Jun 2020,  7 night Norway itinerary departing 5 September 2020 and 7 night Portugal, Spain and Gibraltar sailing departing 4 October 2020.

Eric Lanlard 14 night Spain, France, and Gibraltar cruise departing 18 Jul 2020, 7 night Norway itinerary departing 8 August 2020 and  14 night Spain, France, Italy and Gibraltar sailing departing 29 August 2020

These cruises are great for an extra special thing on your cruise.  If you are into food and wine then this will really top your sailing.  They do tend to book well and are worth taking part in.
