Another Great Break Away

I have just come back from a 4 night stay at Ribby Hall Village.  Ribby Hall Village is located about 6 miles from Blackpool.  We had booked this to go with my family and there were 12 of us altogether.  The main reason for choosing here was the fact it had a house called the White House which accommodated 14 people.  Ribby Hall is a site with lots of different kinds of accommodation.  There is a luxury hotel, cottages, wooden lodges and a selection of houses.  Our house was located off a private drive which we shared with the house next door.  We had 6 bedrooms, a lounge, kitchen, big dining room, games room, a separate converted games room and then sauna and hot tub.  The house itself was amazing.

4 nights wasn’t really long enough to experience the house and what was on the site.  We had planned an activity for mid week and took on a Segway.  There were 7 of us to do this and it was so much fun.  We also took poppy swimming and there were some boats we took out on the water.  There were so many activities on site but we didn’t do too much as wanted a chilled time away.  We ate 2 nights in the restaurants on the site and then sat around the dining room in the house for 2 nights.  We certainly made use of the sauna and hot tub and also the games room.  The house had a really good sized garden as well.

The weather was brilliant while we were there and although sometime s a little chilly it was mainly blue sky.  We went into Blackpool twice and we also went to St Annes and let Poppy walk on the sand.   She also went on lots of rides and loved the slot machines!  The 4 nights went so fast and everyone had had a great time.  We are already talking about doing a big house stay again.  I would like to go back to Ribby Hall but we may try a different area next time.  My next holiday now is the end of June so not too long to wait!
