Will You Choose To Cruise This Year?

Will You Choose To Cruise This Year?

What – You haven’t made your holiday plans for this year yet? It’s never too late.

Have you considered taking a cruise? Or are you put off by some of the cruising myths you have heard?

Well let me reassure you. Over the years I think I have heard all sorts of reasons why people don’t want to cruise – I am not old enough, its boring etc etc…………

Lets put some of these myths to bed once and for all!

1 – Cruise ships are boring!

This statement can only be said by someone who has never stepped on board a cruise ship, just look at the facilities and entertainment options that  some of these ships boast, MSC have partnered with Cirque Du Soleil to offer an exclusive show at sea, walk through either Central Park or The Boardwalk whilst on board many of Royal Caribbean’s cruise ships, learn new skills, explore the different ports of call, enjoy a workout in the Gym or relax in the spa – there is so much to see and do, I promise.

2 – I don’t want to eat at the same time every night!

No problem with this one – nearly all cruise lines offer freedom dining now, this means you can go at a time that is more convenient for you. You don’t have to sit with complete strangers either, request a table for 2, you may have a bit of a wait but that’s okay if you want that table for 2. Also, the speciality restaurants are amazing – Italian, Japanese, French, steakhouses – all tastes are definitely catered for.

3 – It will be full of old people!

Not true these days – the average age of cruisers these days is coming down, sure, there are cruise lines that cater more for the older generation but, each ship and cruise line offers different things for different needs.

4 – It’s too expensive !

Again, not true! Look at what people paid for a cruise in the 70’s or 80’s compared with what you pay today, it’s actually cheaper – and look at what you get for your money – great service, great facilities, wonderful itineraries, magnificent food and entertainment.

So if you want to try a cruise this year give me a call and we can find the cruise that suits you best.
