Dress codes? Not only on ships Sir!

Louis Hamilton turned away from Royal Box at Wimbledon. O'h how he must have been embarrassed when refused entry for not wearing the correct dress, even though it appears that he knew the correct dress code before going. Great to see that standards are being enforced in some places. Well done Wimbledon, even though, as far as I was concerned, not for watching. 'Le Tour' is another matter!

I've been told that men wearing jeans and short-sleeved shirts were let in to the Britannia restaurant on QV last week....on formal evening, we certainly saw them on the first evening! whoops.

I see the Greek Prime minister never wares a tie either! Do you think this will catch on in other countries? Jan.

Apparently Lewis was offered a jacket and tie to wear, but turned them down. I'm glad he got turned away.

I've never seen any one in the wrong clothes on a cruise, and my OH took his tie off in a bar one formal night and was asked to put it back on!

It's quite common over here not to wear socks in the summer.
My OH goes without socks even when wearing summer shoes.
