    thomson discovery cabin guide

Reference to the new Thomson Discovery info required as to which deck would be best for cabin to be on to limit noise and vibration,

In general: On just about all older ships the rear of the lowest passenger deck (deck 2 in this case and possibly the rear of deck 3) should be avoided. These will have cheaper cabins, but these tend to be above the propellers and near the engines/generators. By the middle of those deck the noise/vibration is normally gone. Amidships is also the most stable position.

Maybe check out the review of "Splendour of the Seas", her former identity.
