Last time I recommended a small electrical device, it was a Window Karcher.
This time, it's an electric brush which makes everyday hair straightening less harsh on the hair than 'irons'.

I always take my beloved GHDs with me on holiday for evening use as my hair has a life of its own in humidity and I don't always want to look as if I've been plugged into an electrical socket if I've been outside but don't want to wash my hair in order to look half way presentable, or have to bung it up to hide the 'ping' effect.
However much protector one uses, the fact is, heated irons are not terribly good for hair as an everyday product and so when my hairdresser showed me a new product they were trialling, I jumped at the chance to try it BEFORE my appointment.
I have below shoulder length hair. bleached/coloured to within an inch of its life but in superb condition [even if I do say so myself] as I really look after it. It's fine but reasonably thick and tends to be a bit wavy.
This new [new to meat any rate] product is an electrical ceramic straightening brush. It doesn't 'clamp' the hair so isn't as fierce.
Spray thermal protector on very dry hair; five seconds [just five sweeps of the brush] of brushing through and my hair is sleek and reasonably straight. Not poker straight as the GHDs achieve but definitely non wavy and unlike the GHD effect, looks incredibly natural.
I bought the travel version online [from John Lewis so I know it's pukka] as it's more packable than the regular Dafni brush. It has a smaller head so it takes a few seconds longer to use. As my hair isn't curly,it needs less brushing than the Youtube demos which show really curly hair before, during and after.
Expensive but it definitely does what the blurb says.
It won't take away my 'special' evening use of GHDs when I want poker straight hair but for everyday use, it's kinder to my hair and perfect for getting rid of my kinks. Well, my hair kinks at any rate!!!

An electrical ceramic brush, another great travel product I won't be without...that's if your cruise line allows it on board. Luckily, Cunard do.
