Think this video from Morning Joe on MSNBC says it all.

I get that JC. No president should ever have to 'agree' to that. It should be a given. But it hasn't stopped him being as obstructive as possible since losing the election. Watching CNN this morning they are reporting that use of the 25th Amendment is being discussed. I hope it is and also hope it doesn't stop there. His enablers need to face the music too.

They all need throwing into jail. There had to be a great deal of collusion to have allowed these so called protestors to enter the building so easily. Pictures show that they used police riot shields to batter the windows in. How on earth did they wrest them from supposedly armed police officers? Pence needs to grow a pair and invoke the 25th amendment.

I'm hearing that Trump has now agreed to an orderly transfer of power. Call me sceptical but I wonder if the back story runs like this. I wonder if the cabinet and VP have finally found a spine and told him that either he agrees to an orderly transfer or they invoke the 25th Amendment and boot him out? Just a thought.

He is gone, finished, personal legacy in tatters.
Trump and his enablers Guliani,Cruz and all his other co-conspirators are dead men walking,as in no futures.
    Just another failed rightwing coup.

    Doubt it!

Melania Trump's Chief of Staff resigned with immediate effect last night - they should do the same - JMO.

He has just issued a statement to say that his term as President has been the greatest first term in American history.

So sad - as if America doesn't have enough to contend with, regarding Covid and the economy.

Checked the news this morning to hear that four people have now died.

Trump is so more than a petulant bad loser. How much does it take for his supporters to see that this day has come after he has spent years peddling fake news and fuelling prejudice and hate?

Shame on his unprincipled enablers who cowtowed to him and fed his ego, not just in the USA but around the world. Such as...

Sad whoever she supported. Looks like Trump is being condemned by his own party now:

National Republican Party communications director Michael Ahrens wrote on Twitter that the attack amounted to "domestic terrorism".

"Our soldiers have died carrying the American flag into battle for our freedom. To see that flag used in the name of unfounded conspiracy theories is a disgrace to the nation, and every decent American should be disgusted by it."

    Let's hope they are disgusted.

Very sorry to hear that - it was reported earlier that she was a Trump supporter.

I would think that the leaders in every democratic country will. I heard a suggestion that Pence could invoke the 25th Amendment and boot Trump out. It probably won't happen but I'd love to see Trump brought to book in some way for this.
I have been saying this for ages about the 25th amendment. The Republican Party needs to call for it though, not the Democrats as this will send a clear message to these idiots that DT has really overstepped the mark. For once I almost felt sorry for Mike Pence.
