    If you like 'swing'

A teenage band from a Japanese girls school playing Benny Goodman.
    Japanese Swing. This is good!
If you are old enough you will smile; if you are young, you will love it.
    Amazing how young they are.
Whether or not you like swing music, turn up your speaker and take a trip back in time.
These Japanese youngsters would make Benny Goodman proud!

It's great Lizzie but the Japanese/Chinese way of producing prodigies is much against my morals.

Either you have an innate abililty or not; no need to to be taken away from your family and subjected to intensive tutoring in order to excel at whatever they have in mind for you.

Maybe these youngsters had freedom of choice in their chosen field, I can only hope so.

Oh Lizzie, how you made my sojourn into Todays Posts. I called my wife who often wonders what I see in the Cruise Co. topics. She liked it too (an under statement) Marvellous.

Glad you liked it, it got me moving!!

The enthusiasm was infectious and their cautious & amazed smiles at the end were a joy to watch. Very self effacing, great stuff!

I shall keep the link, loved it!

At last I've got around to watching this. I normally see the thread at 2am so can't play it for fear of disturbing the normal people of the household who sleep at night

It was very good but was filmed in such a fashion that it looked like it was a film clip and there seemed to be some acting going on. The focus on the teacher at the back and the coy glances between the boy and girl didn't seem real-life. That said, I have played in a few brass bands and can normally tell when people aren't actually playing the instruments. There was a bit of a lag between the picture and the sound when I watched it but I would say that they were actually playing that and it was very good.

Blimey..........I sound like a critic.........or an old grump

I enjoyed it so, ''oi'll boiy it and oi'll give it foive'' as Janice used to say on Thank Your Lucky Stars
