Since we got this big screen in the club Our DJ Kevin is a mine of music knowledge,,he finds videos to suit the members who are shall we say triple jabbed,,the 60’s being the most popular,,,,like myself everyone knows the words but no one can remember the singer/band.

After every video the cry goes up “Who’s singing this Kev”.

My wife, daughter, sister-in-law and son-in-law are all (or have been) Hospital Radio presenters for more years than I care to remember.
I knew Esther & Abi Ofarim though . I think she may have sung for Switzerland in the Eurovision Song Contest too

Whilst my favourites are the Stones I couldn't tell you which song was on which album (well not all of them anyway).

So I am a music fan but not a fanatic .

Anyone looking for fabulous telly should check out A Very English Scandal on BBC iPlayer.

It is a three-parter about the Jeremy Thorpe/Norman Scott affair and is both shocking and funny.

Hugh Grant is magnificent as Jeremy Thorpe and Ben Wishaw equally good as Scott.

Sorry Ben Wishaw will always be Paddington to me ! (I agree about A very English Scandal though) Hugh Grant is also in Paddington 2 as the villain!
