    Just read this .

We all have rows but this takes the biscuit .What on earth went through her mind trying to swim after the ship...Taffy

My goodness. I mean... good on her for her athleticism, but what a stupid thing to do!

What was her plan? Bang on the side of the hull and hope someone would let her in? 😂

That's the problem with a serious addiction!

I like the Marco Polo, but not enough to swim to it.

                      Missed a bit

I I would love to hear more of this story.

If she intended to fly home was her passport in the now soggy bag? Where was the husband while all this was going on, had he raised any alarm? There must be more to it than it first appears..Carol.

                        Hi Malcolm.
There but for the grace of god eh!!!!!

'Blame' seems to be the default position by some on this forum.....Have some pity.

I didn't see any 'smilies' so i assume it was a sarcastic comment.

It seems hard to believe to be honest, and maybe she was under the influence or has a mental health issue, do the media ever report anything that hasn't got some lie attached to it

I think these lady must be ill as if she was thinking straight she would know that she could not catch the ship up and climb aboard. If she had been drinking alcolhol perhaps that helped to keep her body temperature up enough for her to survive. Whatever the true story she is one really lucky lady.
