Further to the two previous post on this topic, I would now like to remind all that there is only a short time left to make a donation to RNLI's SOS Day on the 29th Jan.

Provisional figures for 2009 issued by thr RNLI indicate that they made:

9,154 launches.....................8,186 people rescued
13,588 lifeguard responses, assisting 15,954 people.
