Not cruising but having a fantastic holiday at the Amavi hotel in Paphos. The food is exceptional and our room has fabulous sea views. All very luxurious.

Totally agree Mike and much prefer Northern Cyprus. The people are exceptional.

Lived there for 3 years ~1970 tent went up on 6 mile beach easter and stayed for the summer weekend visits.
Stuff did not get taken.

Russia on Sea.
Russians have taken over everything in Cyprus…hotels,bars,shops,car rental,,huge housing estates.
A good friend built a house on Cyprus over 20 years ago,moved back a couple of years ago due to escalating violence due to Russian mob violence.

Not heard any Russian voices where we are. Lots of British. More Russians in Goa last time were were there. Drinking their own Vodka in the beach shacks. Ordering lunch and not paying.

I am not surprised by few Russian voices - is the EU allowing Russian tourists in currently??
