Well as promised here is the second part of our adventure after the Beyond inaugural cruise.

On the morning of disembarkation we were up early to get to Barcelona Sants Station to catch the 9.10 train to Paris, except that wasn't our destination.

We'd decided to pay an old friend a visit on the way home so got off at Nimes Pont de Gard to change onto a train direct to
Marne la Vallee Chessy which if you're not aware is the station at the gates of Disneyland Paris.

A little background to explain, in a previous life I'd worked for a company that made quite a bit of the windows, doors etc for Mainstreet USA and we'd visited every 5 years on the Anniversary, this year being its 30th.

We were lucky to get in to see the Lion King show in the theatre as well.

Not everyones idea of fun I expect but as they say there's no fool like an old fool.


Tomorrow we're off to Disney Studios Park for day two then an evening train direct to London where we'll spend the next night.

Never been to Disneyland Paris but loved the Lion King show in Orlando. That theatre in Paris looks much better than the Orlando one.

Well day 2 today and we intended to spend our remaining time in the Studio Park but quite a bit is currently undergoing a refurbishment which was disappointing.

Then it was into the station for the Disney Express which whisked us back direct to St Pancras.
We had our passports checked both in France and on our return to the UK.
I now have a very nifty little train stamp in there.
At no time on either the cruise or the trip to Disney were we asked for our covid pass.

I've been to Disneyworld, Florida and Disneyland, Anaheim. I'd love to go to Paris Disneyland, but no-one wants to go with me!

Brought back some memories of going when our kids were young.We loved the Lion King show at Disneyland Paris.

I love Disney and your photos reminded me of our trip to Disneyland Paris the year it opened. My 3 kids were all young then and they too remember that trip with fondness.

I've also been to Disney in Florida and California cos I'm a big kid at heart.
